Who are we?

We are a team of two, with 36 years of combined experience in web and words. Cosima Morris is the Style part of the company with 16 years' experience of product design and web projects. Diane Jamieson-Pond is the Substance part, with 20 years of writing, publishing and public relations under her belt.

Why are we different?

At Style and Substance we believe that a great website is not simply about the design.  To have a truly great site, the content and look have to work together to meet your business objectives. A beautiful website that does not generate business is as much good as a site that says all the right things but is difficult to find and use.

What makes us different is that we are able to offer our customers a complete service. We don't just offer the web design but the content as well. We use a 'web design in a box' to quickly produce a sophisticated site. With the use of our hosting partner we provide you with the tools to maintain your site once it is live. We will train you and any others to update your website so you don't have to rely on anyone else to make any changes. The hosting companies we work with are all leaders in their field and with the control panels we leave you with,  you can generate e-marketing communication such as e-newsletters easily, at no extra cost. If you prefer, we can maintain your site for you.
